Trusting in God’s Plan
The readings for this week teach us to trust in God’s plan, even if it starts small. We might feel insignificant or think our actions do not matter. But God can use our small efforts to create something wonderful. Just like the small shoot in Ezekiel and the mustard seed in the Gospel, our small acts of faith can have a big impact. In our daily lives, we often face challenges and uncertainties. We might not see the results of our efforts right away. But these readings remind us to have faith and trust that God is working through us. Our job is to be faithful and do our best, leaving the rest to God. St. Paul’s message in 2 Corinthians also reminds us of the importance of our actions. We are called to live by faith and aim to please the Lord. Even if we do not see immediate results, we know that our efforts are important and will be judged by Christ. Humility is also present in this week readings. God exalts the humble and brings low the proud. This is a reminder that we should not seek greatness for ourselves but trust in God’s plan. When we are humble, God can use us to do great things. Reflecting on these readings, we are encouraged to trust in God’s power to grow our small efforts into something great.
Confiar en el plan de Dios
Las lecturas de esta semana nos enseñan a confiar en el plan de Dios, incluso si comienza siendo pequeño. Podemos sentirnos insignificantes o pensar que nuestras acciones no importan. Pero Dios puede usar nuestros pequeños esfuerzos para crear algo maravilloso. Al igual que el pequeño brote en Ezequiel y la semilla de mostaza en el Evangelio, nuestros pequeños actos de fe pueden tener un gran impacto. En nuestra vida diaria, a menudo enfrentamos desafíos e incertidumbres. Es posible que no veamos los resultados de nuestros esfuerzos de inmediato. Pero estas lecturas nos recuerdan que debemos tener fe y confiar en que Dios está trabajando a través de nosotros. Nuestro trabajo es ser fieles y hacer lo mejor que podamos, dejando el resto a Dios. El mensaje de San Pablo en 2 Corintios también nos recuerda la importancia de nuestras acciones. Estamos llamados a vivir por fe y aspirar a agradar al Señor. Incluso si no vemos resultados inmediatos, sabemos que nuestros esfuerzos son importantes y serán juzgados por Cristo. La humildad también está presente en las lecturas de esta semana. Dios exalta a los humildes y humilla a los orgullosos. Este es un recordatorio de que no debemos buscar la grandeza para nosotros mismos, sino confiar en el plan de Dios. Cuando somos humildes, Dios puede usarnos para hacer grandes cosas.
