God is Not Behind a Locked Door

                  Jesus’ words today are unforgettable: “Ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” These are not empty promises. They are invitations to relationship. Jesus knows we sometimes feel like we’re knocking on heaven’s door in the dark, unsure if anyone’s listening. But he assures us: keep knocking. God is not indifferent. God is near. God hears and responds—not always in the way or time we expect, but always in love. Jesus ends with an image as comforting as a warm embrace: “If you, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?” This is not just about receiving things—it’s about receiving God. When we persist in prayer, we are not just reaching for blessings; we are reaching for relationship. And God always responds with presence, peace, and power. So, keep knocking. Whether you are a student with a dream, a teacher seeking wisdom, a parent interceding for a child, or a leader facing difficult decisions—don’t give up. Knock with hope. Ask with faith. Dios No Está Detras una Puerta Cerrada

                Las palabras de Jesús hoy son inolvidables: “Pedid y recibiréis; buscad y hallaréis; llamad y se os abrirá”. Estas no son promesas vacías. Son invitaciones a una relación. Jesús sabe que a veces sentimos que llamamos a la puerta del cielo en la oscuridad, sin saber si alguien nos escucha. Pero nos asegura: sigamos llamando. Dios no es indiferente. Dios está cerca. Dios escucha y responde, no siempre de la forma ni en el momento que esperamos, pero siempre con amor. Jesús termina con una imagen tan reconfortante como un cálido abrazo: “Si ustedes, siendo malos, saben dar buenas dádivas a sus hijos, ¿cuánto más el Padre celestial dará el Espíritu Santo a quienes se lo pidan?”. No se trata solo de recibir cosas, se trata de recibir a Dios. Cuando persistimos en la oración, no solo buscamos bendiciones; buscamos una relación. Y Dios siempre responde con presencia, paz y poder. Así que, sigamos llamando. Ya seas un estudiante con un sueño, un maestro en busca de sabiduría, un padre que intercede por un hijo o un líder que enfrenta decisiones difíciles, no te rindas. Llama con esperanza. Pide con fe.
