Love According to God’s Plan

                God has a plan for humanity, for the life of each one of us, and John Paul II called it “God’s original plan” for humanity, for men and women of all times. In that plan, we were created to relate to each other, to complement each other, to help each other and to enhance everything that each other is; in that plan, love is the path, the goal and the way of being humanity, and it is a love in the Trinitarian way, in the way of God. In today’s Gospel (Mk 10:2-16) Jesus clearly tells his disciples that the original plan is as valid now as it was in the beginning, that the changes made throughout history are the fruit of our hardened hearts. But in order to understand this, we must enter into God’s world, into God’s mentality, into God’s heart… and to get to that, we must have a child’s heart, a pure heart, open to novelty, innocent, willing to learn. “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Let us be like children, let us come to our God and Master to learn to love. Amar Según el Plan de Dios

                Dios tiene un plan sobre la humanidad, sobre la vida de cada uno de nosotros y Juan Pablo II  lo denominaba “El plan original de Dios” sobre la humanidad, sobre los hombres y mujeres de todos los tiempos. En ese plan, fuimos creados para relacionarnos, complementarnos, ayudarnos y potenciar todo lo que el otro y la otra es; en ese plan el amor es el camino, la meta y el modo de ser humanidad, y es un amor al modo trinitario, al modo de Dios.  En el Evangelio de hoy (Mc 10, 2-16) Jesús dice con claridad a sus discípulos que el plan original es tan válido ahora como lo fue al principio, que los cambios hechos a lo largo de la historia son fruto de nuestros corazones endurecidos.  Pero para poder comprender esto hay que entrar en el mundo de Dios, en la mentalidad de Dios, en el corazón de Dios… y para llegar a eso hay que tener corazón de niño, un corazón puro, abierto a la novedad, inocente, dispuesto a aprender.  “Dejen que los niños se acerquen a mí y no se lo impidan, porque el Reino de Dios es de los que son como ellos.”  Seamos como niños, acerquémonos a nuestro Dios y Maestro para aprender a amar.     www.america.cmtpalau.org
