Pentecost Feast
After the Ascension of the Lord, the apostles were reunited with the Mother of Jesus. It was the day
of the feast of Pentecost. They were afraid to go out and preach. Suddenly, a strong wind was heard and
small tongues of fire settled on each one of them. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to
speak in unknown languages. The Holy Spirit is God, he is the Third Person of the Holy Trinity. The Church teaches us that the Holy Spirit is the love that exists between the Father and the Son. This love is
so great and so perfect that it forms a third person. The Holy Spirit fills our souls at Baptism and then perfectly at Confirmation. With the divine love of God within us, we are capable of loving God and
our neighbor. The Holy Spirit helps us fulfill our life commitment to Jesus. The Holy Spirit continues to work in the Church in many different ways, inspiring, motivating and driving Christians, individually or as a whole Church, as they proclaim the Good News of Jesus.

Festividad de Pentecostes
Después de la Ascensión de Jesús, se encontraban reunidos los apóstoles con la Madre de Jesús. Era el día de la fiesta de Pentecostés. Tenían miedo de salir a predicar. Repartimiento, se escuchó un fuerte viento y pequeñas lenguas de fuego se posaron sobre cada uno de ellos. Quedaron llenos del Espíritu Santo y empezaron a hablar en lenguas desconocidas. El Espíritu Santo es Dios, es la Tercera Persona de la Santísima Trinidad. La Iglesia nos enseña que el Espíritu Santo es el amor que existe entre el Padre y el Hijo. Este amor es tan grande y tan perfecto que forma una tercera persona. El Espíritu Santo llena nuestras almas en el Bautismo y después, de manera perfecta, en la Confirmación. Con el amor divino de Dios dentro de nosotros, somos capaces de amar a Dios y al prójimo. El Espíritu Santo nos ayuda
a cumplir nuestro compromiso de vida con Jesús. El Espíritu Santo sigue trabajando en la Iglesia de muchas maneras distintas, inspirando, motivando e impulsando a los cristianos, en forma individual o como Iglesia entera, al proclamar la Buena Nueva de Jesús.
