Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

                The Catechism of the Catholic Church (paragraph 234) teaches that the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity is the central mystery of the Christian faith and life. It is the mystery of God Himself — the source of all other mysteries of faith and the light that guides them. Throughout salvation history, the one true God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — reveals Himself to     humanity and calls all people into communion with Him.

                The Trinity is a supernatural mystery that cannot be fully understood through human reason alone, but only through God’s divine revelation. The Catechism (paragraphs 253–255) further explains that the Trinity is One: we do not believe in three gods, but in one God in three Divine Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Solemnidad de la Santisima Trinidad

                El Catecismo de la Iglesia Católica (párrafo 234) enseña que el misterio de la Santísima Trinidad es el misterio central de la fe y de la vida cristiana. Es el misterio de Dios mismo y la fuente de todas las demás verdades de la fe. Toda la historia de la salvación revela cómo el único y verdadero Dios —Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo— se da a conocer a la humanidad y la llama a la reconciliación con Él.

                 La Trinidad es un misterio sobrenatural que no puede ser comprendido plenamente por la razón humana, sino solamente revelado por Dios. El Catecismo (párrafos 253-255) explica que creemos en un solo Dios en tres Personas divinas: Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo. No son tres dioses, sino un solo Dios, consustancial y eterno.
